Welcome to Azzamo! By using our relays, Blossom Server, website, API, or any connected services, you agree to these Terms of Service (TOS). If you do not agree, do not use our services.
Azzamo supports free speech and decentralization, but we also have a responsibility to prevent abuse and keep our network safe. These terms outline how our services operate and the responsibilities of users.
1. Scope of Services
These Terms of Service apply to all Azzamo services, including:
- Azzamo Relays – Providing connectivity for Nostr users.
- Azzamo Blossom Server – Media storage and global CDN for Nostr content.
- Azzamo Website & API – Tools and services offered on azzamo.net.
If you do not agree with these terms, you are free to use alternative relays, servers, or services.
2. Acceptable Use
By using Azzamo, you agree not to engage in the following prohibited activities:
🚫 Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) – Any form of child exploitation is strictly prohibited and will be reported to authorities.
🚫 Fraud & Scams – No phishing, impersonation, Ponzi schemes, or financial fraud.
🚫 Malware & Exploits – No sharing viruses, trojans, or hacking tools designed to compromise security.
🚫 Spam & Relay Abuse – No excessive automated posting, mass advertising, or activities that degrade performance.
🚫 Doxxing & Privacy Violations – No sharing of personal, private, or sensitive information without consent.
🚫 Terrorist Content – No content promoting or recruiting for terrorist organizations.
🚫 Severe Network Attacks – No activities designed to disrupt, overload, or attack our services.
Azzamo does not actively monitor content, but we reserve the right to take action against violations to maintain network integrity.
3. Content Moderation & Transparency
We believe in minimal moderation, but we take action when necessary to:
✔️ Remove spam, harmful, or illegal content.
✔️ Prevent abuse and protect network integrity.
✔️ Rate-limit or ban users who repeatedly violate policies.
Azzamo does not remove content based on political opinions or controversial discussions, but we will block content that clearly violates our terms.
🔍 Transparency in Moderation
We maintain an open API for users to see who has been blocked and why. This ensures relay operators and users can verify decisions and make informed choices.

4. Media Uploads & Blossom Server
By uploading content to the Azzamo Blossom Server, you agree that:
✅ You have the legal right to share the content.
✅ Your uploads may be publicly accessible through Nostr clients.
✅ Azzamo may store, distribute, and optimize your content through our global CDN.
🚫 Prohibited Media Uploads:
- Illegal or copyrighted material without proper rights.
- Images of individuals without consent (doxxing, revenge porn, or defamatory content).
- Pornographic or explicit content.
- Content intended for spam, abuse, or harassment.
Azzamo reserves the right to remove content that violates these rules.
5. Free vs. Premium Services
🆓 Free Relays – Open to all users but may have rate limits or feature restrictions.
💎 Premium Relays – Paid access with no rate limits, faster connections, and higher priority messaging.
🌸 Blossom Server Access – Available to Premium users for fast, global media storage.
💰 Payment Terms:
- Payments for Premium access are non-refundable.
- Chargebacks may result in termination of access.
- Azzamo reserves the right to adjust pricing, policies, and service levels.
6. Privacy & Data Collection
Azzamo does not collect unnecessary personal data, but we may:
📌 Store IP addresses and public keys for detecting abuse.
📌 Share abuse-related data with other relays to improve network security.
📌 Store and process media files uploaded to the Blossom Server.
We do not sell or monetize user data.
7. Liability & Indemnification
Azzamo services are provided “as-is” without guarantees.
⚠️ We do not guarantee:
- Relay or server uptime or availability.
- Long-term data storage.
- The accuracy of user-generated content.
By using Azzamo, you agree to hold us harmless from any damages, losses, or disputes resulting from the use of our services.
8. Copyright & DMCA Policy
If you believe content on Azzamo violates your copyright, send a DMCA takedown request with:

📌 Proof of ownership (copyright registration or application).
📌 URLs or identifiers of the infringing content.

Azzamo reserves the right to review and act on copyright infringement claims at our discretion.
9. Service Availability & Termination
Azzamo reserves the right to:

✔️ Revoke access to services for users who violate our terms.
We are not responsible for loss of access or data due to suspension, downtime, or service changes.

Azzamo may update these Terms of Service at any time. Significant updates will be announced on our website and Nostr account. Continued use of our services after updates means you accept the revised terms.
